Have you seen this ‘daddy long-legs’ on your wall.  It is very distinctive (and easily recognized) by the way it holds its legs out when resting – they form an acute angle.  If this harvestman were a clock, the legs would be arranged between ‘20 and 10 to’ and ‘10 and 20 past’ the hour.  As well as on warm walls, it can be beaten from bushes etc. This species was first described in Morocco in 1909 and it has spread northwards reaching Spain in 1965, Britain in 1957 (at Bournemouth) and Carmarthenshire in the late 1980s.
