In Llanelli Nats. Bull. 4: 24-26, new plantings of the male clone of this rare tree were listed.  Readers may be interested to hear of two recent plantings of female trees (of Herefordshire stock, as no female trees were found in Carmarthenshire).  They were planted at (i) the eastern end of the ‘Millennium Wetland’, WWT Penclacwydd (SS541979) and (ii) on private land west of the Ffrwd NR (SN418029).  Incidentally, plantings x, xv – xvii (as listed in Bulletin 4) have failed.
