Fungus Meeting including nature and history at a former GWR quarry in Llanllwch, just west of Carmarthen, where over 200 fungi have been identified over the past 12 years. Leader Emily Ivans, 2pm.
Meet in the old park-and-ride carpark on the left past the Carmarthenshire Vets (just off the westbound A40 junction for the showground: SN378190, postcode SA313SA, What3words: ///sweetly.held.hologram).
It is a short walk from there into the site. Wellies or good boots recommended. Tea and cake afterwards.
This is not a foraging course and we will not be discussing the edibility of our finds.
